A very close friend of mine introduced me to the world of Lineage 2, a wonderful mmorpg which I also came to like very much. My friend has been playing the game for more than a year now and has become very fond of his character, whom he named Ryudo, a high level sorcerer.

I wanted to make him a drawing of Ryudo, and decided to make it my best digital artwork as of date, and indeed now I think it is. The entire process took over a month because I've been very busy with other stuff, and my friend is very particular with what he wanted, from the pose, to the colors, to the background scenery, to the expression on the character's face, to the title of the piece--so in a way it is a collaborative effort =3. After a lot of finished scrapped version, we finally decided it is done. The original is 3 times larger than this because he wanted to make a poster print out of it.

Process of creation involves pencil on paper>scan>then color using Adobe Photoshop CS2

Character design and costumes are based on the game Lineage 2. Everything you see in the picture are done by me using only Photoshop defaults.
