Artist's Comments

Ulquiorra Schiffer, a character from the anime series Bleach, is one of my favorite anime characters. So I thought, why not make a fanart of him? I finally got the motivation yesterday to start it, and added some finishing touches earlier. The background is Hueco Mundo, and the structure seen in the background is the fortress of the Arrancars, Las Noches.

Made using Photoshop CS2.
Ulquiorra Schiffer and setting designs are properties of their respective designer Tite Kubo.

I luv the background feeling~ the color was what i feel of Mundo Hueco~

Ulquiorra's skin make him more look like human~<---(I think his skin was pale as zombie...)

Gotta agree with you, Ulquiorra is most definitely amazing. :D

I'm fond of the background in this scene because the cool tones match the softer shading style of the background which in itself is very well done. However, the shading on the character is not as dynamic possibly due to the lack of contrast or stronger nature of the lines. I also think the eyes need some more work, they come off as a bit flat in the pupil area. Overall, great job, love it.

Btw, do you use a tablet?
